| Yatesville Lake June 24 As Summer begins, so does the night bite. Several anglers report catching numbers of small fish but only a few managed to bring in the keepers on Yatesville. Congratulations are extended to Gary Canada, who put the "KVD" on the rest of the anglers and brought in 4 bass for 1st place. Canada was followed by Jaimey Hager, 2nd, who had 2 bass. This placement helped Hager move up 3 positions in the A.O.Y. Race, currently putting him in 12th. Managing to pull 3rd place was Terry Hope. Hope also secured this tournament's "big fish". Finally, 4th place was awarded to Chuck May, with 2 bass. Sending Chuck into 3rd place for the A.O.Y. Race, watch out Curt and Jeff! As the 2011 regular season draws to a close, with only 4 events left, KYFOCBA anglers gear up for a dramatic ending to the A.O.Y. race. One fish can make a huge difference in the points system. This week, Todd Davis who has set in 1st place for weeks, falls into 4th place. Jeff, securing only one solid keeper, made the difference to break the tie between him and Curt Hall II, putting Jeff in 1st and Curt in 2nd. With the knowledge that each angler will have to throw out his two lowest tournament points at the end of this 2011 season. Making this race come down to the last event before Angler of the Year can be crowned. Next tournament will take place on Paintsville Lake on Saturday July 9th@ 6:00p.m. - Midnight.
