What could you expect other than cold and wet weather to kick off
our 2011 season? Absolutely nothing. Circumstances taken into
account, we came out every day and fished until we couldn't fish
anymore. Key to doing this was prayer, perseverance and patience.
Several more smaller fish were brought to weigh in than past trips,
this due to the change in small mouth size limit and creel numbers.
We tip our hats to club president, Jaimey Hager. Even though we
were dealing with the cold and rainy weather Mr. President was
waging a battle that we all must face. His boat proved less than
perfect, but his relentlessness would not let him roll over and die in
this tourney. So, who did he call for a back up boat? Wussel's Boat
and Tow. He rented a Tr21 (currently owned by one Mr. Boo Hager)
